The vision in my head.
It sees you fall
It sees you fail
It sees you die!
I will wish upon a star to see to your return
But where will wishing get us?
As the darkness rains down my eyes I hear your voice reaching out through the shadows
The thoughts and dreams of you return to me have brought the reality to me.
The pain falls
The clouds reach to the sky
The rain stops and I see your face now calling my name.
The vision shows you falling
The vision shows death!
Is it real
The vision in my head shows you fall
Shows you fail
Shows you die!
I reach out
Feel your hand
Feel you spirit
I reach for it
The spirit that kee

Breathless but Breathing
WE sit, as one
Breathless but breathing
Our minds not an inch away, but right where we sit
In each others arms
Safer than a cage,
But freer than an open sky
The wordless conversation we engage
As we whisk each other away
Breathless but breathing
Harmony, without sound
Life, in all of its grace
And all for us
With no fear, but of passing time
With no thoughts of the tears yet wiped away
Breathless but breathing
Together we are
Seated as one
Our minds bound to the others
To never part
Breathless but breathing
In perfect harmony.
Who are you to speak of peace
Who are you to speak of trust
Who are you
To speak of faith
To pray to a god
To reach for mercy
To hope for forgiveness
Who are you to judge me
Who are you to lay down your hand
Who are you to want closure
Who are you
To touch what you have not earned
To speak of what you have not done
To listen to what is not addressed to you
To breath air you do not deserve
Do not hope for forgiveness
For you have not deserved it
Do not pray to a god
For its words are not addressed to you
Do not reach for mercy
For mercy is only for the true and just
Do not speak of faith
For it is we who have none

Once Upon a Hero
A man sits with legs crossed
Eyes glazed over
He remembers the days long gone
The cheering
The hoopla
The Hero
The he who once was
He remembers a time when his face made young girls scream in delight
When his voice brought a smile to the old and weary
When his actions could bring tears to even the strongest of men
But now he sits leg crossed
Body shriveled
Mind turned to rot
Remembering
A time
A place
A hero
His mind still back in those times
His fans long gone
And he is alone
His mind drift away
Back
Once upon a hero
A dead tree
Alone
In a deserted field
Innocent of all crime
The tree sits
To wait for a day
When wind can wipe it away
Worthless and useless
For beauty has long gone
Its leaves have since scattered
Its branches dropped and bowing to truth
Its time is over
No creature to nurture even after death
They have gone
The dead tree
Alone

With Time May Be Forgotten
(To the One Who) With Time May Be Forgotten
To the one who with time may be forgotten
I sing this piece to you
It may not rhyme
It may not flow
But may it bring peace where no peace is due
For the one I once loved
And to look to not love again
I watch for but a sign
I watch for but a sign to your true misery
Remorse for a Love lost
Regret of a decision
Not a glimmer of hope comes to my eyes
Not a ringing of a call for the one left in sorrow
The air is still
Peace may come again
But not till a lost Love be forgotten
Search high and low for a glimmer of hope
While still searching for a new light to shine
And brighten my day
The garden is hanging
Like a rope around a neck
They sway to and fro
Dead and hanging
The plants have long since died
The sun gone dark
The garden is hanging
Like a hand upon a basket
No sounds fill the air
Silence is all that survived
Not a footstep to be heard
Even though the ground is dry
The garden is hanging
Like a pendulum on a string
They sway with the ghosts of the winds long past
And flow with the sand now turned to dust
To the rhythm of a drum that is not there
Played by the hands long decayed
The garden is hanging
Like a spider in her web
Graceful and needless
Alone and forgotten
The world has gone dark

On a page
Letters strung together
Jumbled emotions portrayed
Love

Misery
In words

Gracefully gliding
Fingers press keys
Fluid and unstoppable
They form the letters
That create the words
That are but words on a page
They contain a meaning so meaningless
And yet so infinitely definable
To an open mind
And still they are but words on a page
These words
These letters

Love is a curse
They say that love is what makes life worth living
People spend their whole lives searching for it
Yet when they find it there is usually something wrong
It is either the wrong time for love
Or the love that is given is not felt in return
One heart yearning for the other
While the other longs for another
In the case that both hearts are in agreement
It always ends too soon for one and too late for the other
Leaving both with memories of an abandoned love
But this is not the worst
I fell in love and my love was returned
To this day our hearts belong to each other
If only time bowed to love
We would be together no
I want to shut my eyes
To ignore the troubles around me
To live in my own world
Like a child playing make believe
But every scar cuts into my perfect world
Every morning Im torn away
From my wishes and dreams
Forced into the world of tears
Only to hide my scars behind a smile
And wait for the night to see my wounds
Look into my eyes
They are all there
Hidden by my smile
Look past my face and through my eyes
To see the scars on my heart and mind
Youll see the scars of my life
The people Ive lost, the things Ive done
All my scars I see so clearly
But to you they will always be
Hidden behind my eyes
